1. Driver & Eligibility

1.1 Minimum Age

The driver must be at least 18 years of age and must have held a valid driving license for a minimum period of one (1) year.

Drivers aged 18–22 years are subject to a Young Driver surcharge, which is clearly displayed during the booking process. For the same age group, vehicle category restrictions apply, as certain vehicle categories:

  • are not available for online booking, and
  • may not be rented under any circumstances by drivers aged 18–22.

The renter bears sole responsibility for ensuring that all age and driving license requirements are fully met prior to completing the booking. If the driver does not meet the minimum age requirements at the time of vehicle pick-up, the vehicle will not be released and no refund will be issued.

1.2 Driving License

All drivers must hold a valid driving license for at least one (1) year prior to the commencement of the rental. The driving license must be valid, legible, in good condition, and written in Latin characters.

Driving licenses issued by countries of the European Union (EU) or the European Economic Area (EEA) are fully accepted and do not require an International Driving Permit (IDP).

Driving licenses issued outside the EU/EEA are accepted only when accompanied by a valid International Driving Permit (IDP), where required by Greek law, and together with the original national driving license.

The Company reserves the right to request an International Driving Permit (IDP) in cases where:

  • the driving license has been issued outside the EU/EEA, or
  • this is required by applicable legislation or insurance regulations.

Digital driving licenses or photographic copies are not accepted.

1.3 Driving License Requirements (Scooter – ATV – Buggy)

In addition to the requirements set out in Article 1.2 (Driving License), drivers renting scooters, motorbikes, ATVs, or buggies must hold a valid driving license corresponding to the engine capacity and vehicle type, in accordance with Greek and European legislation.

  • refusal of vehicle delivery, and
  • full and exclusive liability of the renter.

1.4 Additional Drivers

All additional drivers must:

  • be declared in the rental agreement,
  • be present at the rental counter at the time of vehicle pickup, and

Insurance coverage applies exclusively within the agreed rental period.

3.2 Rental Extension

If the renter, after collecting the vehicle, wishes to extend the rental period, they must contact the Company in advance in order to verify vehicle availability.

The Company reserves the absolute right to approve or deny the rental extension, particularly if the vehicle is already booked for a subsequent rental.

Returning the vehicle after the agreed return time without prior notification and approval is not permitted, as no insurance coverage applies after the expiration of the agreed rental period.

In the event of an accident, damage, mechanical failure, or breakdown resulting in vehicle immobilization, the renter must inform the Company immediately.

A replacement vehicle may be provided subject to availability and location, within a reasonable time frame. The Company reserves the right to investigate the cause of the incident and to deny vehicle replacement if it is determined that the vehicle was used in violation of the present rental terms and conditions.

In such cases:

  • the renter shall not be entitled to any refund, compensation, or replacement vehicle, and
